Nun wurde auch das letzte große Jugend-Turnier vor der Sommerpause geschlagen. Katharina war wieder als Vertreterin der Boasters vor Ort und konnte direkt an ihren Erfolg in Porto anschließen. Sie gewann die ersten zwei Runden gegen sehr starke Gegnerinnen gleich am ersten Tag. Katharina war sehr glücklich über diese Siege und freute sich zusammen mit dem Rest des Jugendnationalkaders. Auch alle anderen Spieler und Spielerinnen zeigten starkes Squash und viel Kampfgeist.

Heribert „Nova“ Monschein, Nationalteamtrainer der Jugend war über glücklich und äußerst zufrieden mit den Leistungen der Jugend in Holland.

Der weitere Verlauf des Turniers war ein auf und ab für Katharina, schlussendlich konnte sie aber mit einem hervorragenden 15. Platz von 56 Spielerinnen in der Klasse U17 das Turnier sehr zufrieden verlassen.

Wir gratulieren Katharina zu der sehr starken Saison und wünschen ihr einen schönen und trainingseifrigen Sommer.
