"Get Together ...!" zum Saisonsstart

Erstes Turnier mit fast dem gesamten neuen Jugend- und Junioren-Team der Boasters.

„Get Together …!“ Ein kleines feines Turnier in einem angenehmen Umfeld mit anschließendem gemütlichen Beisammen sein außerhalb des stressigen Turnierkalenders.

In Telfs wurde mittlerweile zum 2. Mal dieses Turnier zum Saisonstart für alle TirolerInnen ausgetragen. Einzigartig die Zählweise und die damit aber verbundene Spannung durch den ,golden ball‘. Bei diesem Speed-Turnier wurde in 2 Sätzen auf 6 Punkte ohne 2 Punkte Unterschied gespielt. Im Falle eines Gleichstands in Sätzen wurde nur mehr ein entscheidender Ballwechsel gespielt. Besonders bei den JugendspielerInnen kam es aufgrund dieser Regeln zu den verschiedensten Ergebnissen. „Spannend“ war der allgemeine Tenor unter den TurnierteilnehmerInnen.

Der Spielausgang und die Platzierungen waren hier zwar nur Nebensache, aber die jungen und auch die etwas älteren Spieler des Squash Club Veldidena Boasters zeigten gute Spiele und eine jetzt schon gute Form für die kommende Saison. Mit 9 SpielerInnen von insgesamt 21 TeilnehmerInnen zeigte der junge Club den Aufwärtstrend beeindruckend.

Im Finale spielte dann Jan Gastl gegen Simon Draxler. In diesem wurde dann temporeiches Squash und sehr spannende Ballwechsel gezeigt. Simon gewann das Finale mit 2:0, Gratulation!
